Microsoft named their cloud OS the Windows Azure Platform. It is the innovation introduced by the technology giant Microsoft for creating, implementing, and managing applications and services through network all over the world and is taken care of by Microsoft data centers.
The official announcement for Microsoft Azure was made in October 2008 and it was released in February 2010.
